Raising the money to buy our home and completing on the purchase are – as many of us know from personal experience – two distinct things. We want it to happen right now, but there’s a crucial legal process to go through first.

Last year our traditional Palm Sunday procession was virtual, this year we were able to take to the streets again, with some very special visitors in the form of the BBC Breakfast team.

Our campaign to raise £1million in two months to buy the stables on expiry of the lease seemed a mountain to climb. “What happens if you don’t?” we were repeatedly asked.
