I am a Park Lane rider

This fabulous poster is the work of 5½ year old Luka, who caught the horsey bug early. He started visiting Park Lane Stables at the age of 2 and is now proud to ride with his friends in the RDA Pony Club. This is even more significant because Luka has hypermobile fingers and joints, so both riding and writing take extra effort and are tiring. Riding helps him get stronger which in turn helps with sitting at school – he’s in Reception and just learning to write.

Luka’s mum Susannah says: “He has decided to make posters for all the stable doors and Natalie’s office door. He finds writing tricky, but he’ll persevere for the ponies! His school homework for Easter is to learn how to write all his letters correctly. Who knew that ponies could even help with that?”

Ah, but we already know that horses help with most things. Keep those posters coming, Luka, we love them!
