Any guesses as to what Natalie and Philippa are doing in this photo?
Back in 2021 during our fundraising campaign, donations poured in online, and locals drove past the Stables pausing to hand over money and pledge their support. But every day too, the postman staggered to the door with cards and letters from all over the UK, accompanied by donations ranging from pocket money to three figure+ cheques.
Natalie committed to reply personally to everyone who wrote, and kept all those cards and letters. They symbolised the scale of what over 30,000 people could achieve when they reached out together to support a cause.
A very special new feature in our new old home
We couldn’t display them all, but we could take one photograph and give that pride of place in our new old home. The next challenge was finding a space big enough to lay them out, but Teddington’s glorious old church, now The Landmark Arts Centre, fitted the bill perfectly.
Thank you to The Landmark Arts Centre for your hospitality, and to photographer Rob Addis Photography for some very special photographs.
