Put your hard hat on, it’s this month’s build update

Our architect Sam reports from Teddington:

“Site progress is going well and we are so excited that the named bricks have now been ordered. This feels like a very symbolic milestone! We should hopefully have them by the end of January. 

In the meantime, the steelwork for the roof structure is in progress and we hope that the timber structure will begin this side of Christmas. It’s been interesting to see that none of the walls added later for the cottage were built or tied properly – I’m not sure how Nat and Dick and family lived there, they could have come down like a pack of cards! Greg and his team are currently in the process of rebuilding them. 

We are still trying to sort out the front gates and doors from a suitable supplier.”
