Plastering, the kitchen and sliding doors, our home is coming together

The latest update on the build from architect Sam and Natalie in Teddington.

Windows fitted, mid April

We’re at a very exciting stage of the build – the finishes! There were a couple of teething problems with the installation of the stable frontages, but our supplier Monarch came back with the missing parts the following week and finished their installation. It’s looking so good in the old stables (We are keeping this one under wraps for the great reveal though).

The reception and cuddle horse area are getting there and we’re in the process of making the kitchen. The bespoke sliding doors have been made, although Greg says ‘never again’; they were quite tricky to organise but are going to look fantastic once installed.

Plastering has all but finished and we’re hoping to be only painting and decorating by the first week of May.

We’re going to have the hoarding up for a little while longer to ensure the safety of the pavement and give the build team the space to work.

We’re so pleased to see the building starting to look like a home again…onwards!
