Prodney’s Blog: I’m up for adoption – but not going anywhere

Well, this is a novelty, apparently I’m in the shop on the website and am maybe being manhandled into a shopping cart even as I write this.

I wasn’t at all sure this was a good idea until I realised that I’m not actually going anywhere. But now Eddy, Reggie, Mini and me can all be adopted to help meet the cost of our board, lodging and vet fees.

At £20 for a year, you’ll be able to look at our glossy coats and alert eyes and ears and know that that’s partly down to you. Those of us who are now retired often cost more in special foods and vet visits, but luckily for us Park Lane Stables keeps all of us for life.

No old foals home for us thank goodness.

If you’d like to give a gift that also supports a really good cause (such as my personal supply of carrots), this seems to me to hit all the right buttons.

Visit our Christmas Shop to find out how to adopt one of us, or to buy a pack or two of our limited edition ‘Let it snow’ Christmas cards.

Our Donate page has lots of other options for supporting us, from buying an RDA session for one of our vulnerable participants, to our Amazon wishlist of really practical gifts to help with the regular running costs of Park Lane.

Prodney is Chief Equine Officer (CEO) at Park Lane Stables, and achieved celebrity status following the TV coverage in 2021. And yes, he really is a bit of a star on YouTube and TikTok. Just search for Park Lane Stables and do follow us!
